The Prime Ministers briefing this evening provided a strong prompt for parents. In order to keep school staff and their families safe, please only send your child to school if you have made contact with the school office, and ultimately – if you really have no alternative.
Of course, we will do all we can to ensure that school remains open for the children of ‘key workers’, and we will be observing the recommended social distances.
I’m sure that you understand the importance of the message.
