You will soon be receiving an email letter from the Local Authority regarding the new Parent Pay.This will replace the old system for paying for school meals.From 15thMarch cash or cheques will no longer be taken for any catering.All balances from the old system have been transferred to the new system – please check that the details and account balances are correct as soon as you receive your login details.Any issues with the system will need to be communicated with Local Authority Schools Catering Department and not with the school. The school restaurant is operated under a Service Level Agreement with Wrexham County Borough Council.The decision-making around catering IT systems, or any element of the school restaurant are taken by them.We do believe that this will be an improvement on previous systems, and will allow you to check your child’s balance, pay at recognised ‘paypoint’ kiosks, as well as what they are purchasing.In order to ensure single point and simplicity of use, we will use this system for all other school payments eg. Trips etc.As with any system changeover there may be some teething issues – we hope these will be minimal.
